Khosi Twala, the victorious contender of Big Brother Titans, not only clinched a $100,000 (approximately R1.6 million) cash prize but has also been showered with abundant love and financial support from her devoted fan base, aptly named Khosi Reigns.
Recently, an event organized by her supporters in Rosebank showcased their unwavering admiration by presenting Khosi with a plethora of gifts, including a money bouquet and a money cake. Expressing her gratitude, Khosi shared, “My journey since Big Brother has been quite remarkable. I anticipated the excitement around my win to fade, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the enduring support from my strong fan base.”
The reality TV star has been the recipient of substantial monetary gifts. Reflecting on the generosity of her fans, Khosi revealed, “I haven’t tallied the exact amount, but it’s been significant. On my birthday, I received upwards of R200,000. Following my exit from the Big Brother house, they gifted me R100,000, and they’ve continued to support me with additional funds. Overall, since leaving the show, my fans have contributed around R500,000, and when factoring in travel expenses, the support has been even more substantial.”
Prior to her stint on Big Brother, Khosi worked as a journalist. Utilizing the monetary contributions she’s received, she has bolstered her Good Deeds Foundation, focusing on aiding the less fortunate, while also establishing herself in the health and fitness industry.
In early June, Khosi introduced her gym app and subsequently launched her own line of activewear, the Active Lifestyle Collection. Grateful for the success of her brand, she attributed it to the unwavering support of Khosi Reigns.
Looking ahead, Khosi has her sights set on returning to the small screen in 2024. She expressed her aspirations, stating, “I’m eager to make a comeback on TV, whether through self-funded content on platforms like YouTube or through other opportunities that may arise.”
